NEW JERSEY’S FIRST LADY TAMMY MURPHY ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT SHE PLANS TO RUN FOR SENATE

     ” Tammy Murphy Said She Plans To Run For The Senate Seat Held By Bob Menedez, As 21 Senate Dems Demand Him To Resign Amid Bribery Charges.”

TRENTON, NJ.- New Jersey’s First Lady Tammy Murphy, the Wife of Democratic Governor Phil Murphy this morning announced her Run for The U.S. Senate Seat currently occupied by Senator Bob Menendez, (D-NJ.). 

     In a post this morning on her Husband’s X/Twitter Account, she said “I’m Tammy Murphy and I’m running for U.S. Senate to fight for New Jersey, our families, and our democracy.” 

     Tammy Murphy enters The Democratic Senate Primary as Menedez Faces an Indictment where he has been Charged with Acting as a Foreign Agent and Accepting Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars in Bribes including Cash, Gold Bars, and a New Car, to Benefit The Egyptian Government through his Influence as a U.S. Senator.

     Murphy joins U.S. House Representative Andy Kim (D-NJ.) in the Democratic Primary challenging Menendez, who has received calls within his own party to resign amid the recent Indictment. Those calls have included her Husband, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy.

     ” Right now, Washington is filled with too many people more interested in getting rich or getting on camera than getting things done for you,” Murphy said in her announcement video.

     Tammy Murphy has served as New Jersey’s First Lady since 2017, when her Husband became Governor, and was reelected to a second term in 2021. The Murphy’s have a Net Worth of over $50 Million according to recent filings.
