TODAY THE U.S. HOUSE IS SET TO VOTE ON ARTICLES TO IMPEACH DHS SECRETARY ALEJANDRO MAYORKAS

“Mayorkas Will Be The Second Cabinet Official To Be Impeached In U.S. History, But It’s Doubtful That The Democratic Held Senate Will Convict Mayorkas.”

WASHINGTON, DC.- The U.S. House is set to vote today on whether to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas Today. Mayorkas will become the only Cabinet Official to be impeached by Lawmakers in nearly 150 Years when Secretary of War William Belknap was impeached in 1876.

U.S. House Republicans have asserted that Mayorkas has committed High Crimes and Misdemeanors for his handling of The Southern Border. Even if Mayorkas is impeached in The House, it is doubtful he will even be Charged in the Democratic Controlled Senate. Some Senate Democrats are still contemplating how to respond if Mayorkas is impeached by The House, whether to move forward with a trial or move to dismiss the impeachment.

Since Mayorkas was Sworn in as Secretary of Homeland Security in January 2021, he has allowed not only The Southern Border, but also The Northern Border to spiral out of control, creating not only the greatest Humanitarian Crisis, but also the greatest National Security Threat in U.S. History.

Since being appointed, Mayorkas has testified before Congress 27 times in just under Three Years to answer questions about why he has taken no action to secure the border, all he has done is lie and blame the problem on the prior Administration. Although he has claimed the Southern Border is Closed and Secure.

Although Customs and Border Patrol claim they have encountered around 7.1 Million Illegal Migrants at the border, Private Immigration Groups have said the real number is over 8.5 Million, Mayorkas in his own words a few weeks ago stated that he released around Eighty-Five Percent of the encounters into the interior of The U.S., yet he has no idea who and where the majority of the 7,225,000 are. These numbers do not include the over 1.8 Million Got Aways and no one has any idea how many Migrants came in undetected.

While Republicans in The House assert that the remedy for fixing the border crisis is to impeach Mayorkas in hopes of putting pressure on President Biden to take more Executive Action, their counterparts in the Senate have worked with Democratic Senators to unveil a border bill that would stem the flow of Illegal Immigration, but U.S. Speaker of The House has declared The Senate Bill is “Dead On Arrival.”

Although, it is unlikely that if impeached by The House, The Senate will even move forward with bringing Mayorkas to trial. Whatever may transpire it seems that with The House moving forward with the articles of impeachment, it has struck a nerve with the American Voters.
