CLIFFSIDE PARK, NJ.- Following a report of a Bomb Threat yesterday afternoon and after completing a Five-Hour Extensive and Exhaustive Search by State and Federal Authorities, within The 500 Block of Anderson Avenue in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office reported that it was safe for Residents to return to The Area.

According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Friday, February 9, 2024, at approximately 12:41 p.m., Multiple State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies responded to The 500 Block of Anderson Avenue in Cliffside Park after receiving a Bomb Threat Report.
The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad, The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Intelligence and Counterterrorism Unit, The Cliffside Park Police Department, and with the assistance of The United States Secret Service Newark Division conducted a 5-Hour Sweep of The Area and Determined that The Bomb Threat was False, and there was no Danger to Public Safety.
