BERGEN COUNTY AUTHORITIES ARE CONTINUING TO INVESTIGATE AN EARLY MORNING FATAL FIRE

RIDGEFIELD, NJ.- Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella reported that The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and The Ridgefield Police Department are investigating a Fatal Fire that occurred Early Wednesday Morning.
On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, shortly before 2:30 a.m., Members of The Ridgefield Police Department responded to a Report of a Fire in The Former Toddle Inn, a Vacant Structure located at 850 Broad Avenue in Ridgefield.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found The Former Toodle Inn Fully Engulfed By Flames. The Ridgefield Fire Department responded along with assistance from area Fire Departments. During Fire Suppression Efforts, Firefighters discovered the Body of a Deceased Individual on the main floor of the residence.
A Search of The Fire Scene by Members of The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Arson Task Force is ongoing. More information may become available once released by Authorities.
