JERSEY CITY, NJ.- A 20-Year-Old Jersey City, New Jersey man will remain Detained in The Hudson County Correctional Facility pending Trial following his March 28, 2024 Arrest for Selling Two Handguns on Two Different occasions to an Undercover Officer in Early January 2024.

     According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, following an investigation by Members of The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and The United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Emerson Deline, 20, of Jersey City, New Jersey was Taken into Custody on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

     Following his Arrest on Grand Street in Jersey City, Deline was Formally Charged with Two Counts of Second Degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and Two Counts of Second Degree Unlawful Disposition of a Firearm.

     Deline was Processed on The Charges and was Remanded to The Hudson County Correctional Facility. Following a brief Court Hearing in Hudson County Superior Court on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, a Superior Court Judge Granted The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office to have Deline Detained pending the resolution of The Charges Filed Against him.
