Man Arrested For Luring And Attempt Sexual Assault Of Children

41-YEAR-OLD CLIFTON MAN ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTING HAVE SEX WITH CHILDREN

     “Brian Stewart Will Remain Detained On Charges For Luring Multiple Children For The Purposes Of Having Sex With Them.”

BOONTON, NJ.- A 41-Year-Old Clifton, New Jersey man will remain detained on Charges for Attempting to Lure Two Children to meet him in Booton, New Jersey, to engage in Sexual Conduct with him.

     According to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, following an investigation, Brian Stewart, 41, of Clifton, New Jersey, was Taken into Custody and Formally Charged with Two Counts of Second Degree Luring; Four Counts of Second Degree Attempted Aggravated Sexual Assault; One Count of Second Degree Attempted Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and Two Counts of Third Degree Attempted Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

     The Charges stem from an investigation, that between March 18, 2024, through March 27, 2024, Stewart was Alleged to have engaged in Sexual Communications with Two Children on KIK Messenger and made plans to meet up with the Children in Boonton Township, New Jersey for the purpose of having Sexual Intercourse with them. 

     Stewart utilized The User Name “Brian being Brian” on KIK Messenger to exchange Sexual Communications with the Children.

     After being Processed on The Charges, Stewart was Remanded to The Morris County Correctional Facility. Following a Pretrial Detention Hearing a Morris County Superior Court Judge Ordered Stewart to be Detained pending Future Court Proceedings in Morris County Superior Court.
