27-Year-Old Paterson Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Early This Morning On A Paterson Street

PATERSON, NJ.- A 27-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man finds himself becoming another victim of senseless gun violence that continues to plague the streets of Paterson, New Jersey after he was struck by gunfire early Thursday morning.

     According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Thursday, April 25, 2024, shortly before 1:00 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department were alerted to a shooting in the area of North 10th and Clinton Streets in the City of Paterson.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found evidence of a shooting at the location. While on scene Police Officers were notified that a 27-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound. After conducting an interview with the victim Police Officers determined that the shooting occurred in the area of North 10th and Clinton Streets.

     The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
