Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds Wants To Ensure The Atlantic County Community Is Safe & Secure

Tuesday, June 11, 2024, 6:30 P.M. ET. By Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, Public Service Announcement,

MAYS LANDING, NJ.- “Hello, I am Atlantic County Prosecutor William E. Reynolds. As the leader of the chief law enforcement agency of Atlantic County, we work tirelessly to ensure that our community is safe and secure.

This summer thousands of residents and visitors will head out to enjoy Atlantic County’s world-famous shoreline and recreational destinations. I am asking you to partner with us by making safety a part of your summer plans.

When you hit the road, always remember to buckle up, travel at safe speeds, and watch for pedestrians, and please never drive impaired.

If you plan to drink alcohol or are under the influence of drugs, DON’T DRIVE. Designate a sober driver or use a rideshare. Research shows that using rideshare prevents impaired driving and saves more than six hundred (600) lives each year.

Before you get into a rideshare, always look for identifying placards on the front and rear windows of the vehicle. Rideshare drivers are required to display these identifying markers to ensure you are safely entering the correct vehicle.

Let’s work together to have a safe and memorable summer season!”
