As first reported by Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Friday, June 14, 2024, at around 5:30 p.m., members of the Englewood Cliffs Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a stabbing on Sylvan Avenue in the Borough of Englewood Cliffs. Upon arrival, Police Officers located a victim who had sustained multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds.

The suspect stabbed the victim multiple times through an open window in the victim’s vehicle. Detectives further concluded that the suspect was not known to the victim, and the attack was unprovoked.
