43-Year-Old Camden Man Was Killed After Being Struck By Gunfire Late Friday Night In Camden, New Jersey

CAMDEN, NJ.- Camden County Authorities are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting that claimed the life of a 43-year-old Camden, New Jersey man late Friday night on a Camden City, New Jersey Street.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez, on Friday, June 28, 2024, shortly after 11:30 p.m., members of the Camden County Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation for multiple gunshots on the 1000 Block of Liberty Street in the City of Camden.
Upon arrival, Police Officers located a man, later identified as Donald Green, 43, of Camden, New Jersey unresponsive from multiple gunshot wounds.
Mr. Green was immediately transported by Police Officers to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased at 12:22 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time as Detectives continue to search for the gunman and a motive for the shooting death.
