Passaic County Authorities Are Searching For The Gunman In Yesterday Afternoon Passaic Shooting

PASSAIC, NJ.- Police are searching for the gunman who opened fire yesterday afternoon in a busy downtown shopping district in Passaic, New Jersey.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., members of the Passaic Police Department responded to a report of shots being fired in the area of Main Avenue and Burgess Place in the City of Passaic.
Upon arrival, Police Officers discovered evidence of a shooting but were unable to locate any injured victims. During the initial investigation and based on the evidence, responding Police Officers determined the shooting occurred in the area of Main Avenue and Burgess Place.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time, as authorities are continuing to search for the gunman.
