Police Continuing To Search For The Suspect That Killed 1 & Injured 1 In Early Wednesday Morning Shooting

RED BANK, NJ.- Monmouth County Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding last week’s double shooting that claimed the life of a 36-year-old Red Bank, New Jersey man, and left another man hospitalized from a gunshot wound.
According to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, shortly before 3:15 a.m., members of the Red Bank Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting multiple gunshots in the 100 Block of River Street in Red Bank.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a shooting crime scene and two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the men, identified as Mikal Muhammad, 36, of Red Bank, New Jersey, had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other man was immediately transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center and was treated and released later in the day.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
