43-Year-Old Paterson Woman Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Last Night In Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 43-year-old Paterson, New Jersey woman was hospitalized after she was struck by gunfire late Sunday night on a Paterson, New Jersey Street.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, shortly before 10:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call after receiving a report of a shooting in the area of Prospect and Market Streets in the City of Paterson.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 43-year-old Paterson, New Jersey woman suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The woman was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
During the initial investigation, Detectives and responding Officers found evidence of a shooting crime scene at that location.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time as authorities are continuing their search for the gunman.
