43-Year-Old Florida Man Will Spend The Next 5 Decades In Federal Prison For Producing Child Sexual Abuse Videos

ORLANDO, FL.- On Friday, August 16, 2024, Brian Hamilton, 43, of Orlando, Florida, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Wendy W. Berger to 50 years in U.S. federal prison for the production and receipt of child sexual abuse material.
Hamilton previously appeared in U.S. District Court on March 27, 2024, and entered a guilty plea before the U.S. District Berger on the charges.
Documents Filed With The Court
According to documents filed with the court, tips to law enforcement about an individual who was distributing child sexual abuse material online. an investigation was launched and ultimately led FBI agents to Hamilton.
On October 11, 2023, FBI agents executed a court-authorized search warrant on Hamilton’s Orlando residence, at which time agents located numerous videos of child sexual abuse material on Hamilton’s laptop, some of which Hamilton produced.
Hamilton admitted that he had sexually abused one of the child victims in the videos and said he did it to “get even” with the child’s parent. Hamilton further admitted to sexually abusing the child on multiple occasions, including in a public restroom.

While today’s sentence ensures the end of this defendant’s despicable crime, the FBI continues its effort to expose those preying on the innocent and make certain justice is served,” said FBI Tampa Division Special Agent in Charge Matthew Fodor.
