MOUNT LAUREL, NJ.- Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw reported that earlier today, a 23-year-old Mount Laurel, New Jersey, man was taken and charged in connection with possessing digital images and videos containing child pornography.

During the morning hours of Wednesday, August 21, 2024, following an investigation. Detectives of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations executed a court-authorized search warrant at the residence of Robert Nault, 23, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

During the search, detectives seized multiple electronic devices from Nault, which will be examined by detectives. During the search, Nault was taken into custody and formally charged with third-degree Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material. After being processed on the charge, Nault made his first appearance in Burlington County Superior Court and was released on bail conditions.

The charge stems from an investigation that began after the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office High-Tech Crimes Unit received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding Nault’s online activities.

Investigation Reveals

During the investigation, Detectives quickly determined that Nault utilized the internet to access links to images and videos containing Child Sexual Abuse Material and downloaded files to an online storage system he maintained.

Further investigation revealed that Nault previously worked as a summer counselor at Camp Ockanickon for Boys and the School’s Out Program, both of which are operated by the YMCA of the Pines. Nault has not been accused of any inappropriate physical contact with minors.

Anyone with information regarding potential activities involving Nault is asked to send an email to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office at tips@co.burlington.nj.us or contact the Mount Laurel Police Department at Tips@mountlaurelpd.org or the Medford Township Police Department at info@medfordpolice.org.
