Detectives Are Continuing The Investigation Into The Fatal Shooting Of 22-Year-Old Sayreville Man.

SAYREVILLE, NJ.- Today, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone reported that Detectives of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Sayreville Police Department are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old Sayreville, New Jersey man.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at around 9:49 p.m., members of the Sayreville Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting on Swider Drive just off Washington Road in Sayreville.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, later identified as Jeremiah Brown, 22, of Sayreville, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Mr. Brown was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
