17-Year-Old Woodbury Boy Was Arrested & Charged For Tuesday’s Afternoon Camden Shooting Death

CAMDEN, NJ.- Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay reported that following a swift-moving investigation, Detectives of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit have arrested and charged a 17-year-old Woodbury, New Jersey boy in connection with last night’s fatal shooting in Camden, New Jersey.

Charges Filed

     The teen has been charged with first-degree Murder; second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon; and second-degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose. Following being processed on the charges, the teen was placed into the custody of the Camden County Juvenile Detention Center.

Investigation

     The charges stem from the investigation that began on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, when just shortly before 6:00 p.m., members of the Camden County Police Department responded to multiple 911 Emergency Calls reporting a male lying in the street on the 1100 Block of Everett Street from an apparent gunshot wound.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers located a male teen, later identified as Brian Still, 17, of Camden, New Jersey, unresponsive from an apparent gunshot wound. The teen was immediately transported to Cooper University Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts by doctors, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased an hour later.
