CAMDEN, NJ.- On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, a 38-year-old Vineland, New Jersey, man appeared in U.S. District Court in Camden, New Jersey, and admitted to possessing digital images of child sexual abuse material.
According to U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger, Raymond Stickelman, 38, of Vineland, appeared before U.S. District Judge Karen M. Williams and entered a guilty plea to an information of one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
Investigation
The guilty plea stems from an investigation that began when, in November 2021, federal law enforcement agents executed a court-authorized search warrant at Stickelman’s Vineland residence. During the search, agents located an electronic file storage device that contained over 500 digital files containing digital images of nude and or sexually explicit children.
During his allocation, Stickelman admitted to possessing the device that contained the files of child pornography. Following entering his guilty plea, Stickelman was released on a $100,000 unsecured bond.
Sentencing in the matter has been scheduled for January 7, 2024. At that time, Stickelman faces a maximum of 10 years in U.S. Federal Prison and a maximum fine of $250,000.
Following Stickelman entering his guilty plea, U.S. Attorney Sellinger credited special agents of the FBI, Atlantic City Resident Agency, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge James E. Dennehy, for the investigation leading to the guilty plea.
