Hunter Biden Has Plead Guilty In Federal Tax Evasion Case Without A Plea Agreement

LOS ANGELES, CA.- In a surprise announcement, Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, said Thursday that Biden has changed his not guilty plea to guilty on all charges in the federal indictment of six misdemeanor and three felony counts of federal tax violations.
The reversal was made on Thursday morning, just shortly before jury selection was expected to begin in what would have been Biden’s second federal criminal trial this year. The only surviving son of President Biden is the first child of a sitting president to stand trial on criminal charges.
The terms and conditions of the plea were not announced when Biden entered a guilty plea, but it was reported that the plea was entered as an Alford plea, where Biden pleads guilty to the charges but maintains his innocence and accepts whatever sentence that he would be given.
Following the announcement, the court went into a recess.
Today’s guilty plea might allow the matter to move forward to sentencing. With the election just 60 days away and time running out, this would enable President Biden to pardon his son, although he said he would not issue a pardon. If President Biden does not pardon his son, Hunter may get an introduction to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons.
This is a developing story; updates will be provided as they come in.
