Federal Inmate & Maryland Woman Indicted On Charges For Smuggling Narcotics Into Federal Prison

CLARKSBURG, W.VA.- U.S. Assistant Attorney Brandon Flower reported on Thursday, September 5, 2024, that a Federal Grand Jury for the U.S. District of Northern District of West Virginia, returned an indictment against Olona Roba, 26, an inmate at U.S. Penitentiary Hazelton, and Sakile Fiddermon, 23, of Fort Washington, Maryland on a federal narcotics charge.
The indictment charges both Roba and Fiddermon with Conspiracy to Smuggle Heroin, Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Suboxone into a Federal Correctional Institution.
According to information unsealed in the indictment, it is alleged that Fiddermon attempted to smuggle various narcotics into United States Penitentiary Hazelton in West Virginia to Roba.
The case was investigated by investigators from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
