Passaic County Authorities Are Actively Investigating Last Night’s Shooting

PASSAIC, NJ.- Detectives of the Passaic Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutors Office are continuing to search for the suspect who opened fire late last night in Passaic, New Jersey.
Gunfire Reported
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, September 6, 2024, shortly around 10:45 p.m., members of the Passaic Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting gunfire in the area of Ann Street and Columbia Avenue in the City of Passaic.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found evidence of a shooting crime scene but were unable to locate a victim. Police checked with area hospitals and determined that no one was injured in the shooting.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as detectives continue their search for a suspect.
