Virginia Woman Sentenced To Federal Prison In West Virginia Drug Operation

MARTINSBURG, W.VA.- On Monday, September 9, 2024, Hailey Lynn Oliff, 28, of Mount Jackson, Virginia, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and was sentenced by a U.S. District Court Judge to 66 months in federal prison for her role in a narcotics distribution operation.
According to documents filed with the court, an investigation conducted by investigators of the Potomac Highlands Drug Task Force identified Oliff as one of the distributors of the narcotics organization that sold methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine powder, and cocaine base throughout the West Virginia counties of Berkeley, Hamshire, and Morgan.
The U.S. District Court Judge ordered Oliff to serve an additional three years of supervised release upon completing her federal custodial term.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Lara Omps-Botteicher commended the Potomac Highlands Drug Task Force, the West Virginia State Police, the Hampshire Sheriff’s Office, the Mineral County Sheriff’s Office, the Hardy County Sheriff’s Office, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, and the Keyser Police Department for partnering with Federal Law Enforcement for the investigation leading to Ms. Oliff’s arrest, conviction, and Monday’s sentence.
