Lincoln Park Man Was Killed Tuesday Morning While Crossing Route 23 In West Milford

WEST MILFORD, NJ.- A 73-year-old Lincoln Park, New Jersey, man was tragically killed after being struck by a motor vehicle Tuesday morning while attempting to cross Route 23 in West Milford Township, New Jersey.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at around 6:00 a.m., members of the West Milford Police Department to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a pedestrian being struck by a motor vehicle on Route 23 near the intersection of Clinton Road in the Township.
Man Identified
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man, identified as Mod A. Khader, 73, of Lincoln Park, New Jersey, having sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle that struck Mr. Khader remained at the scene.
Mr. Khader was immediately transported to Chilton Hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, he tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased shortly after 8:30 a.m.
