3 Members Of Hazleton Family Sentenced To Prison Drug Trafficking

SCRANTON, PA.- On Thursday, September 12, 2024, Anthony Disabella, 35, James Disabella, Jr., 60, and James Disabella, III, 36, all of Hazleton, Pennsylvania, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and were each sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Julia K. Munley to 10 years in federal prison for their role in narcotics trafficking.
According to U.S. Attorney Gerald M. Karam, the Disabellas had previously appeared before Judge Munley, and each entered a guilty plea to the Distribution of 50 Grams or More of Methamphetamine.
According to documents filed with the court, between August 2022 and December 2022, the Disabellas conspired to distribute at least 500 grams of pure methamphetamine to street-level dealers and drug addicts throughout the Hazleton, Pennsylvania, area.
