Paramus Man Charged With Beating Two Kids Under The Age Of Fourteen

PARAMUS, NJ.- Following an investigation into an allegation of the physical assault of two children under the age of fourteen, on Friday, a 56-year-old Paramus, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged with child endangerment offenses.
According to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella, on Friday, September 13, 2024, the Divison of Child Protection and Permanency contacted Detectives of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit after they received a report regarding the alleged physical abuse of two children.
Investigation Reveals Abuse
Following a swift-moving investigation by Detectives and after interviewing the two kids, Detectives determined that Christopher Del Savio, 56, of Paramus, physically assaulted two kids under the age of fourteen in Paramus, New Jersey.
Detectives File Charges
Accordingly, on Friday, September 13, 2024, Del Savio was taken into custody and formally charged with two counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; and two counts of Simple Assault.
Del Savio was processed on the charges and was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending future court proceedings in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Del Savio faces up to 10 years in New Jersey State Prison if convicted on the charges for each child.
