Clarksburg Man Pleads Guilty To Methamphetamine Distribution

CLARKSBURG, W.VA.- On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Randy Joe Jones appeared in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Michael J. Aloi to Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine; and Distribution of Methamphetamine.
According to documents filed with the court, Jones participated and conspired with others to sell and distribute quantities of methamphetamine throughout the Harrison County, West Virginia area.
Jones Faces 20 Years In Federal Prison
When sentenced on a date to be determined by the court, Jones faces up to 20 years in federal prison. A federal District Court Judge will determine the length of the sentence imposed by the seriousness of the offense and Jones’s prior criminal history, if any.
