JOHNSTOWN, PA. On Thursday, October 3, 2024, Davin Gower, 30, formerly of Morrisdale, Pennsylvania, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by Senior U.S. District Court Judge Kim R. Gibson to 70 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release for his conviction of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine.

According to U.S. Attorney Eric G. Olshan and documents filed in the district court, from December 2019 through April 2020, in the Western District of Pennsylvania, specifically Clearfield County, Gower conspired to sell and distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Gower Heard On Federal Wiretap

Gower’s phone conversations were intercepted by a federal court-authorized wiretap, discussing obtaining large quantities of methamphetamine that he would sell and distribute throughout Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, and communities within the county.

U.S. Attorney Olshan commended the investigative efforts of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Pennsylvania State Police for the investigation that led to the successful prosecution of Gower.
