HARRISBURG, PA.- On Thursday, October 10, 2024, a Federal Grand Jury for the Middle District of Pennsylvania returned an indictment against Darnell Henry, 42, of Bronx, New York, on the charges of Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Minor; and Enticement of a Minor to Engage in Illegal Sexual Activity.
According to U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam, the unsealing of the indictment charges Henry with allegedly attempting to sexually exploit a child who was under the age of eighteen between May 9, 2024, and May 25, 2024, in Adams County, Pennsylvania.
The indictment further alleges that between May 9, 2024, and June 2, 2024, Henry enticed a minor under the age of eighteen to engage in illegal sexual activity.
The indictment stems from an investigation that was conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police, the New York City Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative that was launched in May 2006 by the U.S. Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
