WHEELING, W.VA.- On Monday, October 21, 2024, Talon D. Feucht, 30, of New Martinsville, West Virginia, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge James P. Mazzone to one count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

According to documents filed with the court, members of the Moundsville Police Department had arrested Feucht on an outstanding warrant on a breaking and entering charge filed out of Marshall County, West Virginia.

During the arrest procedure, Feucht admitted to Police Officers, to having a pistol concealed in his bag. A subsequent search of Feucht’s bag uncovered a .38 caliber pistol and ammunition inside the bag. Feucht was taken into custody and charged. An ensuing investigation showed that Feucht was prohibited from owning or possessing a firearm or ammunition because of two prior felony theft convictions.
