BUFFALO, NJ.- On Friday, October 25, 2024, Willie C. Graham, 43, of Jamestown, New York, appeared in U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Court Judge John L. Sinatra to a federal charge of Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.

When sentenced, Graham faces a mandatory minimum of five years and a maximum of 40 years in federal prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a fine of $5,000,00.

According to U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross and documents filed with the court, on September 6, 2023, members of the Jamestown Police Department conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop in which Graham was a passenger. During the traffic stop, Police Officers located multiple items of drug paraphernalia inside the car. A subsequent search of Graham resulted in Officers finding fentanyl on his person.

On March 2, 2024, while released on bail from the charges filed in the September 2023 motor vehicle stop, Graham was a passenger in a car that fled from Jamestown Police Officers. Following a brief pursuit, the vehicle eventually stopped. A subsequent search of the car uncovered 11.6 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and $1,134.00 in U.S. currency.

Just seven weeks later, on April 30, 2024, Jamestown Police Officers located and apprehended Graham. At the time he was taken into custody, Graham was in possession of ten assorted bank and benefit cards, some of which were issued to other individuals, a quantity of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and $185.00 in U.S. currency.

U.S. Attorney Ross thanked the Jamestown Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for the arrest of Graham and the subsequent investigation leading to Friday’s guilty plea.
