Pennsauken Sentenced To Prison For Sexually Assaulting Two Young Children

CAMDEN, NJ.- A 72-year-old Pennsauken, New Jersey man learned on Thursday that he will likely die in New Jersey State Prison after he was sentenced to over two decades for the nearly decade-long sexual assaults of two children.

     According to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay, on June 14, 2024, a jury sitting in Camden County Superior Court found Henry Parker, 72, guilty on the charges of two counts of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault; five counts of second-degree Sexual Assault; four counts of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child; five counts of third-degree Aggravated Criminal Sexual Contact; and one count of Engaging or Soliciting Prostitution of a Minor.

     During the trial, the victims testified that the sexual assaults were ongoing and occurred at Parker’s Pennsauken, New Jersey home, beginning in 2009 and lasting through 2018, when the victims reported the crimes to the police. 

Parker Will Likely Die In Prison For His Crimes

     Following his June conviction, on Thursday, November 7, 2024, Parker appeared in Camden County Superior Court and was sentenced by a Superior Court Judge to an aggregate sentence of 27 years in New Jersey State Prison, including 24 years subject to the No Early Release Act.

     Following being sentenced on Thursday, Parker was remanded to the Camden County Jail pending his transfer to the custody of the New Jersey Department of Corrections to begin serving his prison term.
