HARRISBURG, PA.- On Thursday, November 14, 2024, a Federal Grand Jury for the Middle District returned an indictment against Michael B. Golden, 35, of Fulton County, Pennsylvania, on Drug Trafficking and Firearms charges.

According to U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam, information unsealed in the indictment and filed with the district court alleges that Golden possessed with the intent to distribute over 50 grams of a substance and mixture of methamphetamine on December 20, 2023, and January 27, 2024, within the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

The charging information also alleges that Golden possessed three semi-automatic handguns in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and that he possessed the firearms after being convicted of a crime punishable by more than a year of imprisonment.

If convicted at trial, Golden faces up to life in federal prison, a term of supervised release after being released from prison, and a fine. The actual term of imprisonment will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge based on the seriousness of the offenses and Golden’s past criminal history, if any.

“The rules of the court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
