Tabernacle Man Charged Possession & Distribution Of Child Pornography

TABERNACLE, NJ.- Last Thursday, a 29-year-old Tabernacle, New Jersey, man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with allegedly exchanging nude and sexually explicit videos with an underage Pennsylvania girl.
According to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, Fredderico Soda, 29, of Tabernacle, was taken into custody and formally charged with second-degree Impairing or Debauching the Morals of a Child; second-degree Distribution of Child Pornography; second-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Child Pornography; third-degree Possession of Child Pornography; and third-degree Obsenity to a Minor.
Soda was processed on the charges and was remanded to the Burlington County Jail pending future court proceedings in Burlington County Superior Court in Mount Holly, New Jersey.
Charges Are A Result Of An Investigation
The charges stem from an investigation that began earlier this year when members of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding Soda’s online internet activities. Detectives also received information from the Palmer Township Police Department in Pennsylvania indicating that the Department had been contacted by the girl’s parents expressing concerns about their daughter’s online communications with Soda.
During the investigation, Detectives learned that Soda continued online chat conversations with the girl, even after Soda knew she was a minor. Detectives further uncovered that Soda was planning on meeting with the girl, but Detectives apprehended him before he could meet.
