D.C. Metropolitan Police Seeking Suspects In Thursday’s Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC.- Metropolitan Police Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating three suspects wanted for questioning in connection with Thursday’s afternoon shooting in Northwest, D.C.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, shortly before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s First District responded to reports of gunfire on the Unit Block of Banner Lane in Northwest, D.C.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers were unable to locate a victim or victims. During the initial investigation, responded Officers found shell casings at the location. Detectives were able to locate surveillance footage, which captured three suspects running from the scene.

     Anyone who can identify or who may know the whereabouts of the suspects is asked to contact the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. All calls and texts will be kept confidential. The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
