Concord Man Pleads Guilty To Multiple Counts Of Drug & Firearms Charges

CONCORD, NH.- On Monday, November 25, 2024, Wayne Smith, 49, of Concord, New Hampshire, appeared in U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire and pleaded guilty to multiple counts of illicit narcotics distribution and firearms offenses.
Smith pleaded guilty to an indictment charging him with Distribution of Methamphetamine; Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession with the Intent to Distribute Fentanyl; Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Crime; and Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition by a Prohibited Person.
According to U.S. Attorney Jane E. Young and documents filed with the court, in August 2023, the New Hampshire State Police received information regarding the sales and distribution of methamphetamine throughout the Concord, New Hampshire area. The ensuing investigation resulted in Smith being identified as a distributor of illicit narcotics, ultimately leading to Smith’s indictment on federal charges on May 8, 2024.
