Two Men Struck By Gunfire Friday Night In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- Two Paterson, New Jersey, men were hospitalized after gunfire erupted Friday night in the City of Paterson as city residents brace for what could potentially be the start of a violent holiday weekend.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, November 27, 2024, shortly before 8:15 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Main and Slater Streets in the City of Paterson.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found evidence of a shooting crime scene. While on the scene, Police Officers were notified that two shooting victims, a 23-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man and a 21-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man, were both transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center by a private vehicle for treatment of non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Their condition is unknown at this time.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
