Paterson Man Struck By Gunfire Late Friday Night In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- A 19-year-old Paterson, New Jersey, man was hospitalized after gunfire erupted late Friday night at Super Supermarket Shopping Center in the City of Paterson.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Friday, December 6, 2024, at around 11:00 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a 911 Emergency Call reporting a shooting at the Super Supermarket Shopping Center located in the area of Memorial Drive and Main Street in the City of Paterson.
Upon arrival, Police Officers found a 19-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment and was admitted.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been made as Police continue to search for the gunman and the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
