Indiana Man Sentenced For Fentanyl & Methamphetamine Trafficking

PITTSBURGH, PA.- On Thursday, December 5, 2024, Jacob Robert Kelly, 26, of Indiana, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by Senior U.S. Court Judge Joy Flowers to 46 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release for his previously entered guilty plea to federal narcotics violations.
According to U.S. Attorney Eric G. Olshan, Kelly appeared earlier this year in Federal Court in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and pleaded guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine.
In handing down the sentence on Wednesday, Judge Flowers noted the serious nature of Kelly’s criminal conduct and the harm his conduct could have had on the community.
U.S. Attorney Olshan commended the United States Postal Inspection Service for the investigation that led to Kelly’s successful prosecution.
