COLUMBUS, OH.- On Tuesday, a 30-year-old Howard, Ohio, man, and previously convicted child predator was once again sentenced to federal prison on child pornography offenses, some of which included digital images and video files of the sexual abuse of infants and toddlers by adults.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Lee Allen Goudy, 30, Howard, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Michael H. Watson to 250 months in federal prison for his conviction of Distribution of Child Pornography; and Possession of Child Pornography after Being Convicted of a Charge of the Sexual Abuse of a Minor.

According to U.S. Attorney Kenneth L. Parker and charging documents filed with the court, in August 2023, the Federal Bureau of Investigation received multiple CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Goudy, a Tier II registered sex offender, was uploading digital images and video files of child sexual abuse material from the internet.

During an ensuing investigation, federal agents determined that Goudy had distributed child pornography from a Reddit account via the Kik messenger application and on the Twitter social media platform.

Following the investigation, Goudy was taken into custody on a violation of a supervised release warrant. After being taken into custody, agents obtained and executed court-authorized search warrants on Goudy’s cellular phones. During the search, agents uncovered 650 video files and 100 digital images of child pornography, including a collection depicting the horrific sexual abuse of infants and toddlers and the sexual torture of babies. One video depicted a newborn infant being smacked in the face, grabbed by the throat, and violently shaken back and forth.

On one of Goudy’s iPhones, the search history included searches like “supervised release monitoring iPhone” and “does federal monitoring work on iPhone.”

The forensic examinations of Goudy’s second cellular phone uncovered searches for content related to violence, rape, and sex acts against infants and toddlers. That phone included 150 digital images of child sexual abuse material that Goudy had traded over the social media platform Discord.

Goudy, after being arrested in September 2023, pleaded guilty to the new charges for what he was sentenced for on Tuesday, in April 2024. Goudy was on supervised release at the time he committed these crimes for a 2017 conviction; he was sentenced in April 2018 to 78 months in federal prison.
