Harrison County Man Sentenced For Distributing Methamphetamine

CLARKSBURG, W.VA.- On Thursday, December 12, 2024, Timothy Robert Wilson, 38, of Clarksburg, West Virginia, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Thomas S. Kleeh to 92 months in federal prison, to be followed by four years of supervised release.
Wilson Pleads Guilty
Wilson had previously pleaded guilty to the Distribution of 5 Grams or More of Methamphetamine. During his plea allocution, Wilson admitted to selling and distributing methamphetamine in Harrison County, within the Northern District of West Virginia.
In handing down the sentence on Thursday, Judge Kleeh noted Wilson’s prior criminal history, including convictions for drug trafficking, battery, and domestic battery.
U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, commended the Greater Harrison Drug Task Force’s investigative work, which led to Wilson’s successful prosecution and Thursday’s federal prison sentence.
