KEARNY, NJ.- On Monday, December 16, 2024, following an investigation into internet child pornography activity, Detectives of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested and charged a 43-year-old Kearny, New Jersey man with allegedly possessing child pornography.
According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, David Bradow, 43, of Kearny, was formally charged on Monday with one count of second-degree Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.
Bradow was taken into custody at his Kearny, New Jersey residence. After being processed on the charge, he was remanded to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending future court proceedings at the Hudson County Superior Court in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Investigation Began With Cyber Tips
The charge stems from an investigation that began in August 2024 after the Hudson County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received two cyber tips regarding child pornography being stored on online servers. During the investigation, Detectives identified an IP address associated with Bradow’s Kearny residence. Following the identification of Bradow, Detectives obtained and executed a court-authorized search of Bradow’s home.
During the search, Detectives uncovered on Bradow’s electronic devices more than 1,000 digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of children.
If convicted on the charge, Bradow faces up to ten years in New Jersey State Prison, parole supervision for life, and he will be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law registration requirements.
