Teen Struck By Gunfire Late Saturday Afternoon In The City Of Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- Police are continuing the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a shooting in the City of Paterson after a 15-year-old juvenile arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Vades, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, shortly before 5:30 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center after receiving a report that a juvenile had arrived at the Medical Center, with a gunshot wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Detectives continue to search for answers to what led up to the shooting.
