Metropolitan Police Searching For The Suspect In Saturday’s Armed Robbery

WASHINGTON, DC.- The Metropolitan Police Department is continuing the search for the suspect who robbed a local business at gunpoint on Saturday night in Northwest, D.C.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at around 8:40 p.m., the suspect entered a local business on the 500 Block of K Street in Northwest, D.C. The suspect then pulled out and pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded money. 

     The employee complied and handed the money to the suspect, who fled the store on foot with the cash in an unknown direction.
