Metropolitan Police Are Asking For The Public’s Assistance In Locating Suspect

WASHINGTON, DC.- The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in last month’s shooting of a man in Southeast, D.C.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Sunday, December 1, 2024, shortly after 10:15 a.m., Southeast, D.C. Police Officers responded to reports of gunfire on the 2400 Block of 15th Place in Southeast, D.C.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and has subsequently been released. 

     During the ensuing investigation, Metropolitan Police Detectives recovered area video surveillance footage of the suspect, pictured above. Anyone who can identify this suspect and may know his whereabouts is urged to contact the D.C.      The Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a $10,000 reward, which will lead to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
