Kenmore Man Sentenced For Possession Of Child Pornography

BUFFALO, NY.- Today, January 3, 2025, Anthony V. Giambrone, 41, of Kenmore, New York, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Arcara to 60 months in federal prison for his conviction on Possession of Child Pornography.
In addition to the term of imprisonment, Judge Arcara ordered Giabrone to pay $16,000 in restitution to the identified victims of his crime.

According to U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross and charging documents filed with the District Court, in April 2020, Giabrone, a former teacher with Erie One, Board of Cooperative Educational Service, working at Maryvale Intermediate School, possessed digital images and video files depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of prepubescent and pubescent children on two separate laptop computers.
During a court-authorized search of Giabrone’s laptop computers, investigators uncovered 1,052 digital images and 381 video files of child pornography, including many depicting the sexual exploitation and abuse of children under the age of twelve.
U.S. Attorney Ross commended the investigative work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Town of Tonawanda Police Department, which led to the successful prosecution of Giabrone.
