Metropolitan Police Asking For The Public’s Assistance In Armed Robbery

WASHINGTON, DC.- The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place in the evening hours of Monday, December 16, 2024, in Northwest, D.C.

     According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Monday, December 16, 2024, just shortly before 8:00 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District responded to a report of a robbery on the 1300 Block of Park Road in Northwest, D.C.

     Upon arrival, Police Officers were informed by the victim that while he was walking in the 1300 Block of Park Road, he was approached by two unknown men who assaulted him and robbed him of his money and property. The victim was uninjured in the robbery and assault.

     During the investigation, Detectives located video surveillance footage that captured the two suspects, as shown in the picture above.

Police Seeking The Public’s Assistance

     The Metropolitan Police Department asks anyone who may know the two’s identities or whereabouts to contact the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department at (202) 727-9099 or text their tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. All calls and tips will be kept confidential.

     The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department is currently offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the apprehension and conviction of these suspects.
