PHILADELPHIA, PA.- Last Thursday, January 9, 2025, Philip C. Pulley, 62, of Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Court Judge Mitchell S. Goldberg to three years of federal probation, 100 hours of community service, with 50 hours to be spent working for an entity that promotes free and fair elections on his previously entered guilty plea of federal election fraud offenses.

In addition to the probation and community service terms, Judge Goldberg ordered Pulley to pay a fine of $9,500 and a special assessment fee of $400. Judge Goldberg also ordered Pulley to write a letter to the court explaining why he committed the offenses.

As previously reported, in August 2024, Pulley was charged with criminal information with Falsely Registering to Vote; Double Voting; and Election Fraud. Pulley pleaded guilty to the charges in September 2024.

According To U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero

According to U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero and charging documents filed with the District Court, while registered to vote in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Pulley registered to vote in Broward County, Florida. In 2020, while registered in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and Broward County, Florida, Pulley registered to vote in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, using a false address address in Philadelphia and a false social security number.

In 2022, Pulley voted in both Montgomery and Philadelphia counties during the general election, which included the election for U.S. Senator.

“Free and fair elections are critical to the health of our democracy, and the people who seek to corrupt the process can dangerously erode the public’s trust,” said U.S. Attorney Romero. “Protecting the integrity of the vote is a priority for my office and the FBI. We will continue to investigate and prosecute election fraud cases and bring offenders like Philip Pulley to justice.”
