McKeesport Man Sentenced For Large-Scale Cocaine Trafficking Conspiracy

PITTSBURGH, PA.- On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Frank McClellan, 55, of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by Senior U.S. District Court Judge Arthur J. Schwab to 216 months in federal prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release on his conviction of Conspiring to Distribute Kilograms of Cocaine.

     According to U.S. Attorney Eric G. Olshan and documents filed with the District Court, beginning in March 2021 and lasting through September 2021, McClellan was identified as a narcotics trafficker who was distributing cocaine throughout the Western District of Pennsylvania.

     During that time, McClellan conspired with others to distribute and possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, a Schedule II controlled substance, as well as 280 grams of crack cocaine.

     U.S. Attorney Olshan commended the Drug Enforcement Administration, the McKeesport Police Department, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, the Penn Hills Police Department, the Allegheny County Police Department, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, and the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of McClellan.
