Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Gunfire Thursday Night In Paterson

PATERSON, NJ.- Police searching for the gunman who opened late Thursday night in the City of Paterson, leaving a 43-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man hospitalized.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, shortly before 10:30 p.m., members of the Paterson Police Department responded to a report of gunfire in the area of 10th Avenue and East 26th Street in the City of Paterson.
Police Officers Find Paterson Man Injured
Upon arrival, Police Officers found evidence of a shooting and a 43-year-old Paterson, New Jersey man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. The man’s condition is unknown at this time.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. No arrests have been reported as Detectives continue their investigation into the circumstances and motive for the shooting.
