BOSTON, MA.- On Friday, January 10, 2025, after being on the run for more than three years, a 39-year-old Lowell, Massachusetts, man and active member of the One Family Clique street gang was apprehended after being found inside a Lowell, Massachusetts residence.

Darasy Chhim, also known as “Mystical” and “Rizzus,” 39, is with Conspiracy to Distribute and to Possess with Intent to Distribute Heroin, Crack Cocaine, Fentanyl, and MDMA, 500 Grams or More of Cocaine, as well as 500 Grams or More of Methamphetamine. Chhim was initially charged along with 14 co-conspirators in the unsealing of an indictment in June 2021.

According To Charging Information

According to the charging information unsealed in the 2021 indictment, it is alleged that Chhim was a member of the One Family Clique street gang. Beginning in and around February 2019 and lasting through June 2021, it is further alleged that Chhim and a dozen co-defendants conspired with one another to distribute quantities of illicit narcotics throughout Lowell, elsewhere in Massachusetts, and in other parts of the country, including Virginia and California.

It is also alleged that the group trafficked various controlled substances in large quantities, including deadly fentanyl and methamphetamine. Chhim was suspected of being part of the leadership of One Family Clique, whose members were engaged in firearms trafficking, money laundering, acts of violence against rival gangs, and other activities.

If convicted at trial, Chhim faces up to 20 years in federal prison, at least three years and up to life of supervised release, and a $1 million fine. The actual term of imprisonment will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge based on the seriousness of the offense and Chhim’s prior criminal history.

“The rules of the federal court require us to include a statement that states: The charges outlined in this publication are merely accusations, and the defendant and or defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt.”
